The GATE AOE Spacer is designed to adjust the position of the piston relative to the sector gear, allowing proper correction of the Angle of Engagement (AOE) between the sector gear teeth and piston teeth.
The spacer is installed between the piston and piston head, moving the piston rearward to help achieve more favorable sector gear engagement. Correct AOE can help reduce stress on the piston teeth and improve the durability and reliability of a properly tuned AEG gearbox.
The spacer is specifically designed for components with a 5 mm centering interface. It is compatible with pistons featuring a 5 mm diameter centering hole and piston heads featuring a 5 mm diameter centering spline.
It is fully compatible with GATE EON High Speed and EON Power Hybrid Piston Heads.
